Built in the 1960’s and incorporating a Victorian coach-house, this modernist house in Edinburgh is an unusual hybrid. Our interventions aim to bring a coherence to the whole.

A series of openings are to be formed, set within a framework of concrete and timber cladding, to provide a new covered entrance and give a greater lightness and transparency to the front elevation. The entire house is to be renovated to improve both the appearance and the environmental performance.
